Reflections on presentations

I think Friday's presentations was okay. I think our presentation could have been better because my position in the presentation felt strange because Charisma said that New York has more things to offer than Times Square and I thought we was supposed to talk about the things that are opposite of what most immigrants think of New York before they came here such as the poverty, the poor education, and the corruption. I thought we was supposed to talk about those things. Team Ambush presentation was excellent except they spoke too long. Also i would like to clear somethings up. The term LATINO is an ethnic term for a group of people that come from Spanish, and maybe Portuguese and french speaking countries regardless of their race. The term Black has became so confusing in America or more within the black communities because as I see even though I disagree but many people consider blacks from English speaking countries as BLACK. I also agree in some ways about what Jennifer said about black as a race in general being the most racist people. I think the term should have been most prejudice since this hatred seems to be only amongst blacks. I would agree because for the past four years that I have been disrespected by people of black origin because of nationality or ethnic differences. I was not the only one because my sister and my little brother has went through the same. I have even read articles written by teens about this hatred. I do not know if this is occurring in other states but it sure is occurring in New York. This is not only amongst teens but adults as well. There has been so incidents that it would take days to explain.
